Administrative Assistant

We have an immediate need for an experienced Administrative Assistant in our family owned, Private Practice Physical Therapy Office.

Candidate must be friendly and outgoing with excellent verbal, written and telephone skills.  Must be able to multi-task and work in a busy environment.  Must have experience in medical office procedures including health insurance and medical billing, in order to support the billing department and their needs.  Must be computer literate with good typing proficiency, able to work in databases and instant messaging.

Duties will include (but not be limited to) greeting patients, scheduling appointments, managing copay collection and insurance verifications, being the primary person to answer the phones, handling legal requests for medical records, maintaining chart files and filing system and doing new patient intakes.

We are a growing practice, with a casual but professional atmosphere.  We all work together as a team and maintain a cheerful, fun place for patients to come for treatment.

Physical Therapy Aide
